Thank you for your opinion. The Certified Pre-Owned Color from B&N is $100 less than the Nook Tablet. I can always upgrade later, by the time I am ready to do so I bet they will have a lighter one available. They are always making newer models of everything electronic. I'll post back here once I am holding an ereader in hand.

Finally purchased my Nook! Finally opened it last night and registered it. Purchased my first Nook book too. (It sat for days until B&N finally applied my membership discount. I didn't want to open it until that was fixed. I am going to leave out other details of the whole experience dealing with .com since this site is owned by B&N. Should have gone in store for this purchase!) I went with the Tablet for the main reason of it being the lightest and my husband talked me into it. I want to be able to hold it for a length of time without having to put it down. I was disappointed when I couldn't find any free games like the Kindle or my Ipod touch offers. I did order screen protectors and the TrendyDigital WaterProof Case for the Nook. I used it today in the tub. I actually had a chance to take a long bath and it was nice to feel that my Nook was protected. I like it so far and I hope to grow to love it. My husband said he would trade his Kindle Fire for it if I wanted since I told him there were some books not offered by B&N that Amazon had. I told him how about we trade instead sometimes. Lol

Glad you got everything worked out and set up. FYI - This site is not owned by B&N. It was started by a nook fan who later sold it to a company that hosts a number of message boards, but is in no way associated with B&N.

Thank you, I am glad to have the additional information that this site isn't owned by B&N.

Hi. I am selling a 16gb tablet unopened for $200 with 2 free cases. I am unsure how we would organise to ship it. I am not good at selling stuff. But let me know if you are interested. My wife got a gift of one and I also bought her one which left me unable to return it. The 16gb one is 262 in the stores. and the cases cost me $50. I would be ok with accepting $200 for the lot. Email me at caolan_finegan@yahoo.ie if your interested. I am in wi.
