    Default Adding a second Nook

I have a Nook ST and my wife ("I'll never use that thing, I like the feel of a real book") tried it and now I can't get it away from her. I am buying another one and I am thinking I should register it using the same name, password, email address, etc. I have a PC reader on my computer and I know that its library duplicates my Nook so I assume I would then have access to all books on both Nooks. I can't see any advantage to setting up a different account instead. Could one of you multiple Nook families please tell me if I am on the right track? Please don't suggest I just get rid of my wife because she's a pretty good cook and she also adds an income.

You are, indeed, on the right track.

the only problem is archiving. If you dont have your own account, when you archive something on yours when you are done with it, it will also archive on your wife's.

Seriously? So if you "unarchive" a book it will also go back to both Nooks?

Sorry, but either way it's just another area where Kindle wins....

The advantage of separate accounts is that you won't have to see your wife's books on your device and she won't have to see your books on her device. If your reading interests are different, that might be a considerable advantage!

You can still share books though, via sideloading them and opening with name/CC#. That's how hubby and I did it, though we've kind of gone over to the Sony side lately. At any rate, we never had regrets about having separate accounts, it was a great advantage for us. Our reading interests overlap somewhat, but not enough to want to share a single account.
