Nook WiFi store problems

For the last week my nook will not even open the B&N shop, everytime I use the touchscreen to load it, the screen flickers & then goes back to my main background. I have turned it off & left t off for an extended period of time, still no luck. Any ideas, as of right now I have to use my computer to buy ebooks for the nook & its getting annoying.

I've had exactly the same problem for the past several days. Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it?
