I never buy bottled water myself, and always make sure any plastic pop bottles I get go back to the store for recycling. Bottled water seems like the same thing you can get out of your tap for free, so I just avoid it. That, and the bottles stack up way too fast.
I find it interesting that people don't think water bottles can be recycled. Our local recycling center does. I find it difficult to believe it's the only one.
Actually that's very true. Bottled water is simply tap water if it says from a natural spring, or something like that. Because our tap water comes from natural springs the watered bottles can say that, but if the watered bottle say its been filter by reverse osmosis, it's actually a nice filtered water. But still a household water filter could be purchased or a faucet filter. If you need water on the go people can simply buy a reusable water bottle or canteen. (I was just sharing this information because I feel the same way as you).
