    Default Waterproof case for nook

I was browsing Amazon fro nook accessories tonight (it amuses me for some reason), and I saw this waterproof case. I have heard great things about it from people that have used it with the Kindle. I should think you'd have to get it to the book you want before you slip it in, since I would assume the touch screen wouldn't work through it, but this would be great for reading in the bath or on the beach anyway ....

I have been considering ordering that. I have read good things about it and I am a tub/swimming pool reader.

My sister in law bought me this for Christmas... I'll let you know when I get home on Thursday how I like it! We live less than a mile from the beach, so I know I'll get mileage out of it in the summer.

So I haven't used it in water or at the beach, but I did slip my nook into the sleeve last night. It seems to seal well, and I wouldn't be afraid of taking it in the tub to read. It's not quite a snug as I'd like it to be, but it's not overly loose either. I can probably also fit my cell phone in the bag behind the nook when I take it to the beach

The touchscreen works through the plastic, which is the best part I think I'm going to remove the strap, because I dont see myself using it. Seems like a pretty great product....

That's great to know that the touchscreen does work through the plastic!! Makes it that much more useful!! Thanks for sharing.

It's good to know there is something like this out there. My one concern was using the nook near water. I just decided I wouldn't use it at the beach. Now, I know I have that option. Yea!!!

    Hi Everyone,

I absolutely LOVE to read in the bathtub. I have smallish children (not *THAT* small, but still constant "Mom This" "Mom that" if
I'm close by). The bathtub seems the ONLY place I can get any peace and quiet. At any rate, I purchased some gallon size Ziplock
bags with the double zipper top and use those. It's easy to replace if it gets messed up and I think it's fine for the bathtub as long as
it's sealed well. Obviously, use a ziploc bag at your own risk.

I have ordered and recieved this case.
I can see I will love it!
Not for beach or tub uses but for a wet dog running up at me while and wet mittens being dropped on it.
This will be my winter travel case and get a nice case for summer time and indoor use.
