    Default Who Makes the Nook?

I know it is "labeled" by B&N, but WHO really makes it? I am sure it is coming out of Asia somewhere, but a name or website of the company would be most helpful.

I was wondering because it would be helpful for future tech information.

    Anyone know?

I read somewhere it was designed by the same folk that designed the Kindle.
'The storm had now definitely abated, and what thunder there was now grumbled over more distant hills, like a man saying 'And another thing' twenty minutes after admitting he's lost the argument.'

    Wouldn't that be ironic.

    I heard that too .... let's see ....

Article from when we thought it would be called Athena: http://www.businessweek.com/the_thre..._noble_ta.html

Says it was designed by Ammunition Partners, from their own site: http://ammunitiongroup.com/index.php.../company_news/

    Cheers!

Very interesting about the designer, but I would like to know more than design but the actual developer of the software and possible nook SDK (or is it just a limited locked out version of Android). More details..!!!
