I'm on the fence as to join or not. Before Emma was announced my next book to read was Pride and Prejudice as I've never read it. Which do you guys think I should go for first??

Why not join, and read P&P next?
Or, if it's really high-priority for you to read P&P, you can always come back to our Emma posts and comment at a later date.

For those who like to watch and own DVDs the BBC version of Emma that is currently playing on PBS was released on DVD today. Amazon has it for only $21.99. It's the best production I have seen of Emma. The casting, directing, costumes and locations are wonderful. Definitely one you would probably watch more than once.
