Week One Reading Assignment for The Twenty Dollar Bill

Greetings fellow board members, and welcome to the first week's assignment for The Twenty Dollar Bill!

This book is written in a series of short scenes - 42 of them in fact. They are not numbered, but rather each scene uses the name of the character whose viewpoint it is written in as the scene heading.

Week one assignment is to read the first ten scenes. That takes you through scenes for:

Claire
Joe
Devon
Ganesh
Mrs. Cranston
Freddie
Hugh
Miles
Susie
Donald

Don't be intimidated by the number of scenes - I call them that because they are far too short to be considered chapters. This novel is relatively short, and hopefully the style of writing will keep you moving from scene to scene!

I will check into the book club at least once a day, so feel free to post if you have any questions.

I'm sorry, but I have to continue on... I tried to stop and wait till the next assignment, but I can't! I guess I'll be going back and reviewing what I already read so I can answer the questions, but I'm really enjoying this story and don't want to wait till next weeks reading assignment to start back again! Please don't kick me out!

Hehe it is a great book isn't it!!! You'll have fun discussing it even if you finish it, but if you can restrain yourself, it'll be fun to stay on track too. Just remember not to reference any of the stuff past the reading, since others may not be reading ahead!!
