The Point in Pittsburgh, where Braden told Marino that the reporters "aren't as dead as we had hoped." Not sure why the fountain is dormant. Just inland from the fountain (on the grass) is the stone outline of where Fort Pitt (when British controlled it) / Fort Duquesne (When French controlled it) once stood.

Near the center of the picture is the Hilton, where Joe and Abby stayed their only night in Pittsburgh.
