Chapters 12-21: Hello, Morgantown

Welcome to Morgantown, home of West Virginia University. Joe and Abby drove all day in the rain to get here from Becton so they could interview Professor Van Scoy.




The Hotel Morgan on High Street in Downtown Morgantown, where Joe and Abby stayed their first two nights in town.

The Monongahela River, which flows about seventy miles north all the way to Pittsburgh. The university is beyond the river.




The PRT (Personal Rapid Transit). Joe rode in one of these to get to Bailey Hall.

This is Nick's Canteen, the Greek eatery where Abby told Joe what she'd learned about PT-109 over steaming gyros.



This place really exists. To the left is Boreman Hall, a large downtown dormitory.
