    I got way behind, and didn't keep up with the message boards because of it. Maybe it was just summertime business, but probably would prefer a less aggressive page count - I can read a lot when I do read, but if something comes up one week, it would be nice to catch up relatively quickly.

    That's my sense on the matter. I was asking for 150 pages which is, for me, not a big deal and I got the impression from people going in that it wasn't for them either but life clearly intervened in too many cases. I'm quite fine doing something like 75 pages and taking 2 months to read a book rather than noone being able to keep up. And when NaNoWriMo hits, I'll need the extra time
