Just a reminder to flip back to the maps at the end of the book (which honestly show up much better on ADE than on the Nook). We start using them this week.

Here's a map cheat sheet instead of going to the end of the book on the Nook and confusing the 'Furthest read point'. I know printing it will result in it being on real paper, which can be difficult in the nook age.

also dont forget that an epub is just a zip file/folder with the extention changed from .zip to .epub you should be able to open the epub in stufit or winrar and copy out the maps so you can look at then in a picture viwer.

Nice idea. You could also copy them to your wallpapers folder. By the way, Baen books are always DRM free so encryption is not a problem. Just tried it and the four maps show up as four different jpegs in the extracted files. Resolutions are around 800x500 so I would rotate them and maybe resize the longest side to 760 pixels (keeping aspect ratio constant). Eh, then again, just put them in - I think they'll just work .
