library epub ebook problem: unlock you eBook
Hope someone can help me out. I authorized my nook color with ADE. I copied the ebook(epub file) to the book folder on the nook from my computer. When I try to open the ebook in the nook i get the "Unlock You eBook" message asking for my credit card. I must say this technology with ADE etc is very frustrating. Thanks in advance.

Re: library epub ebook problem: unlock you eBook
Where did you purchase the eBook from? From your description it sounds like you may have bought it from B&N and downloaded it to your computer, is that correct? If so why not just download it directly to your Nook via Wi Fi?

klaatu eh? i bought that album when i was kid back in the 70's. thanks for your reply. i forgot to mention that i borrowed this ebook from my library so i should be able to just open the ebook up and begin reading. it is not a bought book. someday this will all be done by computers.

Re: library epub ebook problem: unlock you eBook
download the library book to your computer
then you have to drag the file into ADE
then you drag the book from ADE to the left side of ADE where it says nook
then you should be able to read it in your nook.
And yes, someday is here. I have the Overdrive app and I can download directly to my nookcolor from my local library
and that is truly awesome!

Mik's got the instructions going on!
You must use ADE to transfer library eBooks to your Nook, unfortunately. It's not just a drag-n-drop thing.
