    Default Power Button

Do you have to push hard on the power button on all nook colors or is it just mine?

The actual clicking of the power button on a nook color shouldn't require a "hard" push. Initiating a power on/off does require the power button to be kept depressed for a few seconds though. This might make it seem like you have to jam the button down hard I guess.
I use a Trident case on mine and I do have to push quite hard sometimes to power on/off. But this is due to the case material/alignment, not the nook color button.
    peace out...
