Anyone having issues with the avatars showing today? I can't see mine right now, but I am wondering if it's my computer.

It's been like this for at least a week. It seems to be only affecting uploaded pics.

Hmmm Mine was showing for me yesterday, but maybe that's cause it was cached on my computer. I accidentally started deleting my database here, but was able to restore it, but maybe the uploaded pics weren’t able to be restored. Can someone try uploading a pic so I can know if that is enough to fix the problem or if it’s a problem with uploaded pics in general? (I don’t have anything at this computer to try it myself)

I noticed the avatars disappeared about a week ago. I meant to say something but then I figured you were probably aware. Obvisouly you were not.  It seemd to correspond to when you installed the B&N banners above. I just figured that maybe you were successful in getting us switched to a different server and we lost the avatar database. Anyway, when I noticed mine gone I just simply uploaded a new one. Kevin |

Oh good, okay well then I will jsut PM the people who seem to have one missing and ask them to re-upload. Someone else had mentioned it to me a few days ago, but I could still see them on my computer, so I thought maybe it was an isolated thing, but I guess my computer just had it cached. Sorry guys!!

I see yours too.... I did as Rachel suggested in another thread and tried uploading again instead of using the link I had.... It would appear that it is still not working.  |

Yeah I think some people A. (in Alan's Case) haven't tried re-uploading yet or B (in Lisa's case) can't get it to re-upload.
If you have tried re-uploading and it's not working please attach your avatar here and I will try to add it to your account.

Is there a file size limit or something that I am just not getting?

Email me your file ( nookboards@hotmail.com), just reference your user name and I will get it in there for you. For some reason some people are still having problems with the whole thing, but when I do it as the admin it seems to fix things. Rachel |
