Default So is the Nook Color design working for you?

When I had my Nook Classic I was always considering getting a nice decal to spruce it up.
Now with the Nook Color the desire is not there. Partially because I prefer Black for my electronics.
But also don't see how a decal could improve on it.

    What your thoughts on it?

I love the skin on my original NOOK. I was waiting for my Oberon cover to come before buying a skin. It got here yesterday, and now I don't really want one. My NC blends with the interior of the Oberon cover so well, and I love the elegant simplicity of it.

I'm not a nook Color owner (Yet), but I love the look of both. My nook classic looks great. I had a skin on my first. When I got my replacement and looked at them side by side I decided it didn't need one. One of the reasons for choosing the nook over the Sony, although not a primary reason, was the look of the nook. I like it.

I had 2 different skins for my original Nook, but now that I have the Nook Color, I'm like you guys - no desire to put on one. Maybe it's that with so much color on the screen, there's no need for color around it? Whatever the case, I think it looks great the way it is!

I wouldn't put a skin on a nook color, I think it looks good without one. However, I did put one on my classic nook. Even though with it in a case the little bit of white that did show bothered me. It made a glare at night against my dk purple javoedge case. I found it distracting, but can't see this being an issue with the nook color. I think they did an excellent job on the design and shade of the nook color.

I bought a skind ofr my classic nook but didn't like how it looked and so left it naked. Since getting my nook color I have had no desire to skin it. I like the looks of it as it is. Of course I do own a cover though.

My Nook Classic is skinned and has a cover I keep it in permanently.

This thread is interesting, because I was looking at Oberon covers last night, and decided that I didn't want the Nookcolor skinned OR with a cover. I like it just the way it is.

I think the design of the Nook Color is elegantly simple. The addition of a skin is not necesary for me, but a case is more a mattter of protection.

I love the look of the NC. This is the first device I haven't skinned. However, I don't get the cutout in the lower left corner. I don't think that "design element" adds anything.

The latch in the corner is for hanging Wind Chimes for when reading outside silly
