Where did you acquire these files from? Nook Color will only play DRM-free video files and only supports MP3s. For example, any audio or video files from the iTunes Store will not be playable on Nook Color.

    Hello JEck

I load videos to the nook color and I had to play with the setup a little. I use Smart FLV Converter Pro. There I use Output Format - 3GP for Mobile (MPEG4 + A). In the Advanced Settings - Video Codec - H263, Frame Rate same as original, Frame Size - 352 x 288 (you can make it larger but you will see less of the sides of the video), the other is aac and Same as original. I put the file on the computer in a nook color folder then I sideload it on the nook. It is cool.
    I hope this help.

    Joe

I have a bunch of videos from iTunes that play just fine on my NC, the key is they need to be DRM free. so if you look at the info on the file in iTunes it needs to say Purchased, not Protected.

music videos purchased in the last year or so will probably be okay and DRM free, same with music, but tv shows and movies will be protected.

I haven't loaded music to my NookColor yet, but I have an iTunes account with lots of music. I'll make an attempt this weekend to download "purchased" music. Thanks for the info.

"Purchased" music from the iTunes Store will play on a Nook Color since it is DRM-free. But any music that comes from a subscription server won't play on a Nook Color.
