    Default Motorola XOOMs on Woot.com

Just in case anyone was interested in them. Woot's special today is refurbished 32gig Wifi XOOM tablets for $400 ($5 shipping) Although refurbished they still have a 1yr warranty from motorola and are eligible for an extended warranty from Squaretrade.

    Edit:
By the way, the 2yr extended Squaretrade warranty was about $85, but I found a coupon code for 20% off. rgf44bby

My Xoom showed up yesterday. After taking some time to play with it I'm sorry to say I like it more than my nook color. The bigger screen along with Android 3.2 did away with all the things I didn't like about the NC. As a full tablet that is. Some of the things I didn't like or couldn't do were because the NC wasn't designed to do them, I can't really blame it for that. The NC was excellent (and about half the price of the Xoom), but now that I've also got an ST for reading I like having a full tablet. I'm even getting rid of my laptop in favor of the Xoom.

Eh. The eee Pad Transformer was $400 new to begin with two months ago, its performance is slightly better than than the Xoom, its battery lasts longer, it actually has Gorilla Glass, and you can add an awesome keyboard with USB ports and an SD card reader to it that also adds up to another 7 hours on top of its already 9-10 hours.
