    Default "Sh*t My Dad Says"

Ok So I just read this book: "**** my Dad Says". It was so funny! My husband was looking at me like I was CRAZY! I couldn't stop laughing! (the dad in the book actually reminds me a lot of my dad) I know it was/is a TV show but I've never seen it but I wonder how they could make the book into at TV show and still be funny??? There is a good amount of swearing in it. I have to say though that I was so surprised at how funny it was!! Great Book!!!

This was one of the funniest books I ever read. The show does not live up to the book. And the book is true, true, true! I can't believe the things that man says!

Before it was a book or a tv show, it started from a twitter account.

I've been following him for awhile and he does some some off the wall funny stuff. I've only caught a few minutes of the tv show with williams shatner (I'm not sure if it is still even on) and I haven't read the book but the tweets were entertaining.

Book was hilarious. Loved reading it and the crap that man would come up with. The TV show, however, I watched the first episode and was very disappointed. I felt it would have been better utilized like on Showtime or HBO.

Read it today. It definately has quite a few laugh out loud moments. It didn't remind me of my dad at all, but still funny.
I wasn't familiar with any of it , other than the book.

Yeah, I remember reading the twitter site a few times. Funny stuff.

Reminds me of a college professor I had who would just say the craziest things in the most deadpan voice imaginable. I don't even think he knew how funny he was. This was over 10 years ago, but I think I should dig up that old college notebook and look at all the quotes of his I wrote down. Oh, Steve Deckleman, where have you gone?

The Dad reminds me of a modern Archie Bunker. Which is one of the reasons I don't think the tv series works. You can't get away with those kind of beliefs in the ultra politically correct world we live in now.

Still, the book is very funny.
