    Default Registration problem

Bought Nook WiFi yesterday at B&N. I have Verizon Fios internet, with WEP encryption. When I try to register, the Nook recognizes my network, but asks for password. Every other device, Laptops, Wii, Itouch, etc, asks for WEP security code, not password. Have put in everything I had from Wep code, Netword Password, etc, nothing works.

    Any advice?

    thanks

There shouldn't be any difference between entering a WEP or other type of password. However if you have a shared key configured on the access point Nook doesn't support that. You might want to check that setting.

You should never, ever post login credentials like that to the internet. We've blanked them out for you.

Which password are you entering on your Nook? You should be entering the "security key" into your nook to log on to the wireless.

On a side note you really should contact your ISP and get their help to change the login credentials for the router.
