User Not Activated! SOOOOOOOOOO FRUSTRATED
So, I did a search and found others having this same issue, but none of the "fixes" to date have helped me.
I'm running Mac (OS LION). I downloaded ADE and activated my Nook with it ("do you want to use your adobe log in with this device?" YES!).
I moved my EPUB books I downloaded from the library to the Nook, ejected it, and tried to open them and it says User no Activated.
I've tried everything. Un/reinstalling ADE several times, "forgetting" the nook in ADE and re-activating, etc. I tried to find the .adobe-editions file but found nothing.
HELP!
I'm about to throw my new Nook away this is so frustrating.

Friends, with the help of the fellas at Apple discussions, I figured this out. the .adobe-editions file was hidden. I erased it and POW! it's working. Thanks.

Good to know! ADE can be a real PITA! Glad you were able to fix it.
