Default Dear Oberon: An idea for an eReader cover

Dear Oberon Peoples, over in this thread https://www.nookboards.com/forum/index.php?topic=2254.0 we had an idea for a new eReader cover that would be a replica of various countries passports. Might your company be interested in producing something like that?

    Regards,
    Michael

That's a great idea Michael! A while back some of the male members of nookboards also said that the current Oberon designs are too feminine. This might be a perfect solution!

That is truly a neat idea. It's also be cool to see maybe some replica's of interesting stamps from various countries too on a cover, the way they do the leather embossing that would make for some very unque covers. For some reason the passport idea made me think of the stamps too.

OMG April... Great minds and all that... I was thinking that the stamps would be great as an inside cover 'design' aspect - I forgot to post it when Michael initiated the thread.

what an excellent thought ladies! i have yet to see a "worldly" cover and
i must say that the nook is marketed (IMHO all e-readers) to stay at home
moms/housewives and what-have-you as well as to the elderly or people
who have much timeon their hands with zero to do, I.E hospitals and such
so, i find it hard to see a lot of male influence on the covers though
it would be nice to see some more boy-ish designs

I can't take credit for the idea. I don't remember who came up with, but I was just the person who started this thread.

Really? Maybe I'm just exceptionally comfortable in my "manliness" but I had no trouble finding several "manly" covers from Oberon's offerings. Then I just narrowed the choices down to the one I liked best.

I think it would look neat to have the stamps as a skin with the passport as the cover.
