Great idea! BN should take notice because they are losing sales to Amazon for their nook "knacks".

I love my BookGem... it fits nook very nicely, and also plays well with nook in its JAVOedge cover.

Check it out! We could see B&N wasn't serious about creating a decent Nook Docking Station, so we've developed our own.

Though, buy at your own risk, I'm not sure if it's dimensions will fit nook.
It will fit the Nook, but for $1.49 at any office supply store, you can purchase a simple business card stand that does the same thing quite nicely.

Has anyone found, or know about after-market cables for the various versions? For instance, I do a lot of reading in bed, and the New HD had a very large end, [32 pin] cable for recharging and hard data transfer via USB. Bad news is, it comes straight out the bottom and you don't want to be flexing the base. Plus, it's too short.

What would be real nice is a 90° end to go into the bottom of the HD, and about 5 feet longer.
