Default Kandle LED light on sale for cheap. Any good?

So I'm looking for an LED backlight for my Nook, and there's a the "Kandle" is like 75% off right now (If you're interested, it's available here but you have to use the coupon code "KANDLELT" for it to work

Does anyone have experience with these? They apparently work for any reader, and it's very cheap, but I still don't want it unless it's good.

    Thanks!

Never tried the Kandle so I can't help you there but I did pick up a Mighty Bright travelflex a while back and I am very pleased with it.
The TravelFlex uses a single AAA battery and the blueish led light works well with the Nooks screen. The only drawback is that you need to be using a cover of some kind because the clip will not work with a 'naked' Nook.

I haven't tried the Kandle but if anyone is out there in need of a light, it's priced right (with the code). You can use the code on both colors.

The code's value is 50% off for one light ($12.50 being the new price)

    OR

80% off if you purchase two ($10 being the total price for 2).

I just ordered a couple of them yesterday (in spite of my preference for regular AAA batteries in the Mighty Bright over the watch-type batteries the Kandle uses). It's gotten mostly good reviews on the board for "the reader that shall not be named" (one hint - try clipping onto the side instead of up top to cover the screen a bit better if it doesn't light the bottom of the screen enough when clipped to the top) and for that price I figured it could at least be good for traveling, more convenient to pack and carry around. I ordered some spare batteries as well.

I got 2 last week & am quite pleased with them. In fact I spent way too long last night reading with my Kandle on my Nook.

I picked two of them up today. At 2 for $10 the price is right. If I don't use them, I bet someone in this house will.

I missed out on the black ones at the lower price, but I'll keep watching and see if they come back down.
