I own the Oberon cover for a Nook Classic; a Kindle 3; and a Nook Color. They are the best covers out there. They hold the Ereader very securely. And they do not block any of the input/output connectors. These covers will last for years. Their customer service is superb. The case does a great job of protecting your Ereader (Nnok Color). And they LOOK GREAT. I would highly recommend their case. Richard

I just got my new Oberon covers and they don't interfere with the buttons or jacks at all! Sorry, I don't have pictures yet, but I'll try to get them soon!

I have the Oberon for my Nook Classic, but decided to do something different for my NookColor. I just purchased the new JAVOedge Fleur cover in Red. I'll see how the two compare, but I suspect I'll like it and have two great covers.

Is that you can still hear it.

But that doesnt mean that it "sounds fine".

More like " it's audible". lol
speaker going through leather, cannot "sound fine".

I had a case from BN for my NC without a cut-out for the speaker and now I have a JAVOedge case that has the cut-out and while it was fine without the cut-out, there is a distinct difference in the sound with cut-out. with a thicker material like leather I imagine the sound difference would be even greater.

I do love It! I knew I would, though.

I can hear it just fine. I'm typing on it now and I can hear all the little sound effects that it makes the same as if it weren't in any cover. Ahmose, it's pretty obvious you don't like them, even though you've never seen one or used one. I don't quite understand why you feel the need to join every conversation we have about them and make negative cracks.

    Indeed.

and I don't quite understand how my last comment was a "negative crack".

Just being logical and stating the truth.
    I mean..
    Seems pretty logical to me.
I don't need to "own one" to know that a tiny speaker going through leather would degrade/muffle the sound quite a bit.
and yes, I am . lol
