I've never seen a long romance book, with the exception of "Gone With The Wind", which would make a worthy first romance club book selection. Any woman who likes romance novels and has not read that classic is doing themselves an injustice imho!

Lets start with finding out what sub-genre we should pick. ie, historical, paranromal, contemp? I read nearly all of 'em, and I also write reviews for a magazine, so I have a huge back list to play with.

I've been reading a lot of paranormal romance lately myself, so I guess that would be my top vote. I'm pretty flexible, though!

Okay... If you're paranormal loves of romance... Check out Shannon K. Butcher's Burning Alive - This is the first in The Sentinel Wars series. I just finished the second book in the series Finding The Lost. Equally as good as the first.

What sort of storyline is it? Vampires, werewolves, space invaders? :P Just curious!

OOOH yes please! A romance book club would be great. I like all types of romance. Especially now that Nook helps me hide the covers.
