    Default Lending Question

Here's an odd question, Ragdoll and I ran into this, this week, and I'm not sure if it was a glitch or if it's something we're not aware of.

A couple of weeks ago (not sure of the exact date), I lent a book to her. I then tried lending a second book to her a couple of days ago and my nook said it went through. It didn't as we found out last night/this morning. The other book showed as still being out on loan. So I tried again today and it showed the other book as back and this time it went through. Can a borrower only borrow one book at a time from each lender?

this was an odd problem and something we both thought (unless we're behind the times) everyone should watch out for

I checked the manual and it doesn't say anything about a person only being able to have one eBook at a time a lender. But maybe that is the case.

Be careful, once lent a book cannot be given out again... I ran into a problem with one I let somebody else read, but it never got to them - She contacted B&N - Nothing got resolved so the LendMe feature is no longer available for that eBook for me.

That one is actually a freebie (kinda) from Smashwords. The next Lend Me book I planned to get was the third Sookie book, but I won't be picking that up for a little while, I have so much to read right now. I don't know if I should put a or a at the end of that LOL.

They are! But such a pain sometimes! After finishing Simon's Choice, I spent 2 days figuring out what I wanted to read next.
