Boy do I love my Nook now that I've configured it to my needs. Added Wifi PEAP access, added my favorite RSS feeds, found a way to retain folder structure while browsing my PDFs either using Trook or Filemanager (w PDFviewer), and stocked up on wallpapers and screensavers!
But there's one thing that's REALLY bugging me. It's the size of the icons. They're really big, and 2 icons take up the entire LCD screen. See http://www.box.net/shared/hvb1y2la0l I'm not a huge fan of swiping of touchscreens, and you can imagine a folder with tens of PDFs would require many swipes. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with the android api/ xml/ whatever the language to suggest some way where I can change the size of the icons. I think a "list view" would be much preferable to the current "thumbnail" view found in Trook, and Filemanager.
Ideally, I would think that the LCD screen would be able to fit say 3 or 4 columns of 4 rows of (icon + filename).
Not knowing programming is indeed a pain...
