    Default [Read This]Sorting books improved.

Hari S. (the author of nookLibrary) has released a completely new version of nookLibrary adding a lot of sorting options.
    This includes sorting by:
    - title
    - Author first name
    - Author last name
    - Most recent
    - Reverse order

    And the major update includes:
    - sorting by folders
    - sorting by tags
    - and ofcourse by books

What you need to do is this:
    1. update to the latest version of nookLibrary (v.0.1.3)
    2. download and install nookSync.apk
you can get it here: https://code.google.com/p/nookdevs/downloads/list
nookSync is a must download that provides you with all these sorting options

For full details press the button 'HELP', which is inside nookLibrary application, there are a few pages that Hari has written about the update.

Personally, I find it very handy to use sorting by folders, you just need to first create proper folders, I suggest you to do this with your computer. For example, I have about 30 to 40 comics in my nook, which take about 10 pages in total, so now I can put them all in 1 folder, so that I don't need to skip about 12 pages everytime I want to see what other books I have on my nook.

(Yes you need to have softrooted your nook to use this and every other application that is provided by nookdevs)

    Hope you like it!

This is an app for people that have hacked their nook. They have improved it, but if your nook is not hacked then it won't work for you.

    Does that help?

Yes very cool. The NookDevs Library rocks. My UnArchiving still doesn't work for some reason though. I even Softrooted right from 1.0 and reinstall and recopied my books over. Been working with Hari on it but I think he might be stumped now.

Oh yes, there is one thing I noticed this morning while browsing details of a book. If you open book details by pressing 'view details' and then scroll down the books description, then the bookcase icon (right top side) disappears for some reason. You just have to scroll back up to be able to press it.

I found the 'sort by folders' to be useless, so not improved, merely changed.
I use Calibre and it uses library/authorfolder/bookfolder, book and cover file
As the 'new' system doesn't look in subfolders it is essentially useless to me.
The Latest version of Trook, don't bother loading this up, it screws up the Calibre catalog completely.

The guys writing this stuff really need to consider what the end users want, else they are just wasting their time releasing programs that nobody will use.

    Note to Trook writers
Release a version that allows us to rearrange the feeds easily and remove the unwanted 'stock' feeds.
Roll back the button layout, the new version puts the last book in your 'section' metadata and cover in the e-ink display, you can't select which book you want the info on so pointless.
