Default How big is nook's e-ink screen in pixels?

    Heya!

All righty...so, to kill time, I've been looking around for pictures that I think I might want to use for nook's screensaver. (Long story short: I've decided to try playing to nook's strengths and work strictly with pictures that are in black-and-white and/or are "vintage," or vintage-looking, and would look good in grayscale. I don't like the idea of using ordinary pictures on nook--why would I want to see them in grayscale when I can see them in bright, beautiful color on my PC or cell phone?)

With that said, I've thought of using pictures like these:

I'd love to use these pix, but I don't know if they're too big or too small. I don't know how big nook's e-ink screen is to start with. I've looked around online and the closest I've found to what I'm looking for is nook's overall dimensions so far. So...does anyone know how big the screen is in pixels?

I don't know the screen size, but I'm thinking of using this photo I took in Rwanda:

Thanks! She was less than 2 meters away, and I had less than 10 seconds to set, focus, and snap the shot. I was able to get her eyes in focus, which is what I was aiming for.

    Regards,

You can resize them. There are a number of free programs that will do that. One that I've used for years is IrfanView - Official Homepage - one of the most popular viewers worldwide

Yea, but resizing upwards will result in artifacts in the image.

It depends on which program you use, quality and size of original and size of edited version.

Well, yea, but as a rule of thumb, you are gonna get some artifacts if you resize upwards.
