I'm hard to please when I read. I've actually set aside March Upcountry because it's too much infodumping, backstory, and beating me over the head with logistics and not enough ACTION. It's boring, in other words, and I don't have time for boring. I've moved on to the next story. I don't finish a book if it doesn't keep me interested, because there's too much to read and I don't have a lot of time as it is. Besides, a good book revs up my creativity I keep hoping the next one fulfills that need.
