So far there is not a comics application available. Many of us have submitted emails to B&N asking for a comics app but until the application store opens we don't know if one will be available or how long before there is one. I suppose the files could be converted to PDF and read that way.
STAR TREK: TNG - INDISTINGUISHABLE FROM MAGIC
BY DAVID MCINTEE
I just got my nook today but have been reading comics/manga on various devices for a while now. You have to open/unzip the files on each cbr/cbz file to their own folder using winrar or winzip. It would be easier if you then loaded the images onto an sd card and let the nook find the images from the sd card when you go into my library on the nook.
The only problem I'm having problem with is sorting the jpgs from my comics in the right order. It would be great if someone could help us figure out how to have the jpgs sorted by name instead of the date order that the gallery function on the nook seems to do.
I converted most of my cbr and cbz files into jgps a while ago. Because the nook has no organization system, I converted the comic book issues I wanted to read into pdfs. Viola, I've been reading them on the color nook. Use http://www.pdfarea.com/Image-to-PDF-Converter-Free.htm. It allows you to convert multiple jpgs at once. I basically converted 5-6 issues at a time into my own version of a trade.
