    Default Newbie... ADE Question...

    I downloaded ADE.

As a test I "purchased" a free book from Kobo.

I downloaded ADE - registered it. Opened ADE - book was there.

Attached my Nook TR - registered it.

Dragged the book to the Nook. It is in the Digital Editions folder.

After all that - I am just wondering if I can make it show the graphic book cover. I see it in ADE and when I open the book on Nook the cover is display but the book in the nook digital edition display is just blank with title & the "N" for nook.

    Just curious.

    Thanks!

    Frank

It does the same thing on the NookColor. I don't know if anybody has figured it out or not, but if they have it will probably be in one of the Color tech support boards. HTH

Did you try running it thru calibre?

It is fairly intuitive. I never read the directions and I figured it out.
It would help you add, change or correct a cover. Or not. Sometimes it is just not available.
Other times, just hunting and pecking here and there and bingo, you have a cover.

Weird as the covers show in ADE on my computer. But once on the Nook they do not.

    I'll keep playing...

    Thanks for your help...

try pasting a copy of the cover in the .docThumbs folder that shows up when the nook is connected to your computer.

Caliber should definitely do the trick.

    Frank,
I have a book on mine doing the same thing, my earlier suggestion, and Calibre didn't work. When I use a micro sd card, ALL my books show up this way. If you figure it out , please post and let us know how you did it.

In Calibre if you go to the exit meta data option, there is an option to download the cover.
